But if you are searching for Quidditch gear, golden snitches, or flying brooms, you’re in luck. Only those and other items that would be for sale in the “real” Hogsmeade Village can be purchased in Universal’s Harry Potter theme parks. The following are ten of the most unusual items found in the shops at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Omnioculars

In the Harry Potter books and films, Omnioculars function similarly to binoculars for magnifying viewing. However, they have additional features like replaying and slowing down action. The actual Omnioculars at the theme park resemble ViewMasters and come pre-loaded with scenes from the Potter movies. These are available at Dervish and Banges.

Remembrall

In the Harry Potter series, a Remembrall glows red when the holder forgets something, returning to clear once they remember. The actual Remembralls for sale only glow when a button is pressed, as they are powered by batteries. Available at Dervish and Banges.

Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans

Harry Potter fans with a sweet tooth will revel in these quirky jellybeans that come in various flavors, including sausage, onion, pizza, and gravy. For sale at Honeydukes.

Extendable Ears

These whimsical Extendable Ears, invented by the Weasley twins, allow users to eavesdrop on distant conversations. Available at Zonko’s.

Quidditch Gear

At The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you’ll find an array of Quidditch gear, including quaffles, golden snitches, and bludger bat and ball sets. However, without the ability to fly, the usefulness of this gear among muggles is questionable. Available at Dervish and Banges.

Owl Post Postmark

One of the most unusual items available at the Harry Potter Theme Park is entirely free. The clerk at the Owl Post will gladly postmark your postcard or any paper item with the official Hogsmeade stamp, making them excellent conversation pieces.

Chocolate Frogs

Delight in these milk chocolate frogs, each accompanied by a collectible trading card featuring famous witches and wizards. Available at Honeydukes.

Hedwig Owl Puppet

Bring home a puppet version of Harry Potter’s pet Snowy Owl, Hedwig. This lifelike reproduction includes a moveable head and owl sound effects, available at Filch’s Emporium.

Wands

Ollivanders wand shop is an attraction in itself at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests enjoy a presentation demonstrating how “the wand chooses the wizard.” Afterwards, a variety of wands can be browsed and purchased, even without attending the demonstration.

Butterbeer

The must-try drink at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is Butterbeer, available in frozen and non-frozen varieties. Despite its name, it contains no actual butter or beer; instead, it features a sweet combination reminiscent of shortbread and butterscotch. Available at Hog’s Head and Butterbeer carts.

Pumpkin Juice
