Summary:
After our brilliant morning cycling through Vancouver, we made our way over to Nightingale for lunch.
Nightingale is highly recommended by locals, creating high expectations for our meal. The atmosphere was inviting, featuring a stunning high ceiling and a well-stocked bar.
For lunch, we selected three dishes to share. The choices included pizza, gnocchi, and asparagus with crumbled parmesan biscuits and a poached egg.
The meal at Nightingale proved exceptional and invigorating after a day of exploration.
With renewed energy, we headed to Grouse Mountain, one of Vancouver’s gems.
Grouse Mountain impresses with its vastness, combining urban and natural landscapes, allowing activities like skiing in the winter.
Though we visited in summer, lingering snow indicated the past ski season was a spectacle. Observing genuine grizzly bears in their natural habitat was a highlight.
As we reached the summit, we encountered the Grouse, famous for its amusing antics.
Afterwards, we descended and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Keg Restaurant, which is renowned for its quality meals.
Eventually, we returned to our accommodation, the Shangri La in Downtown Vancouver, satisfied with our day of exploration and excitement, eager for what was next in the extensive adventures to come in British Columbia.
