Love or hate New Year’s resolutions, we often find ourselves grappling with their concept. Regardless of personal opinions, these resolutions become a focal point, often emphasized more than the last treat in a candy box!

On a lighter note, embracing New Year’s resolutions might not be such a bad idea. The active choice to enhance one’s life can provide necessary motivation; after all, we all crave that extra push from time to time!

If you are considering setting New Year’s resolutions, here are seven straightforward strategies to help you reach your goals…

Ultimately, the nature of your resolution will differ from others. Whether you wish to “find happiness,” “exercise more,” or indulge in ice cream daily, articulating a clear resolution is truly invaluable!

In my view, accomplishments stem from a mix of effort, fortuity, and a healthy dose of willpower. The same applies when tackling New Year’s resolutions.

This year, a primary focus of mine is to improve personal happiness by eating healthier and shedding a few pounds (a familiar goal during this time of year, I acknowledge). I believe that establishing “better eating habits” and “weight loss” will ultimately contribute to my overarching goal of finding happiness.

However, steer clear from two categories of individuals: those who dwell on negativity and individuals who make accomplishments seem easy. Both can hinder your motivational pathway and detract from your journey toward attainment!
