Best Shopping Malls in Singapore’s Marina Bay and City Hall

Modern Singapore was founded in the City Hall and Marina Bay area – here you’ll find not only the city’s most prominent historical sites, but you will also discover towering office buildings and some of the finest shopping in Singapore!

The malls within this shopping precinct are served by a number of MRT Stations: from City Hall MRT Station. City Hall Interchange (NS25/EW13) exits immediately below Raffles City, while three stops along the Circle Line exit in this area: Bras Basah (CC2) immediately across the Singapore Art Museum; Esplanade (CC3) on the west side of Suntec City, and Promenade (CC4) next to Millenia Walk. Visitors to the Marina Bay Sands can exit immediately under Bayfront Station (CE1).

Singapore’s foremost temple to conspicuous consumption is attached, quite fittingly, to its major casino property. The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands offer over 800,000 square feet of shopping and dining space under a curvy glass roof, which bathes the space in natural daylight. The cavernous interior features some of the world’s priciest brands, including Cartier, Burberry, Gucci, Patek Philippe, and Yves Saint Laurent. Moreover, Louis Vuitton has its own separate boutique housed in the Crystal Pavilion off of the main mall.

The Shoppes also feature Singapore’s first in-mall skating rink, a canal with sampans you can ride, and access to the Sands casino and theater.
