Overview of White Water Bay in Oklahoma City
When the summer heat arrives, there’s no better way to beat the heat in Oklahoma City than at White Water Bay amusement water park.
White Water Bay opened in 1981 and has been providing thrilling summer experiences since. Initially owned by Six Flags Theme Parks, Inc., it was sold to CNL Lifestyle Properties in early 2007. The park has been managed by former owners Kieran Burke and Gary Story since 2011.
This exciting water park spans over 25 acres, featuring a wide range of rides, slides, and pools. From the adrenaline-pumping 6-story-tall Mega-Wedgie slide and the Big Kahuna tube ride to the relaxing Castaway Creek, it offers something for everyone to enjoy.
Location
White Water Bay is conveniently situated on Reno Avenue, just off I-40. Exit I-40 onto Meridian, head north to Reno, and you will find the park entrance between Meridian and Portland, west of I-44.
Hours of Operation
The White Water Bay season commences in May. Typically, the park operates from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. most days during June and July, staying open until 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. In August, the hours are adjusted, with closing time at 6 p.m. for most of the month. To confirm specific hours, please refer to the official online calendar.
Admission

If purchased online, general admission is priced at $26.99 per person for anyone 48 inches or taller and $22.99 for those under 48 inches. Children aged 2 and under can enter for free, while parking is $6. For group package inquiries, it is advisable to contact the ticket office at (405) 478-2412, ext. 214.
Season Passes
White Water Bay Season Passes are a great option for frequent visitors, allowing access to both White Water and Frontier City. They are available for $69.99 and can be purchased online. Note that this price may increase after a late spring promotional period. Additionally, season parking passes are available for $29.99.

Important Notes
For your safety and convenience, certified lifeguards are stationed throughout the park, and life jackets are available at no charge upon request. Additionally, lockers and tubes are available for rent.
Rules
White Water Bay has specific rules to enhance everyone’s experience. Swimsuits are required on all rides, but the park does not permit cutoffs, thongs, denim, or any attire with metal brads or buttons.
Pets, radios, and outside food/drink are prohibited within the park, while smoking is only permitted in designated areas. It’s also essential that children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
