The Carnival Liberty was the first ship in the fleet to undergo the $500 million Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements. This upgrade introduced a variety of new casual dining venues, enhancing the on-board experience for guests.
There are at least a dozen places to dine on the Carnival Liberty, each offering a diverse range of cuisines. All but a few of these dining venues are included in the base cruise fare.

- Lido Restaurant (Mongolian Wok, Chef’s Choice, Salad Bar, Carnival Deli, and more)
- Blue Iguana Cantina
- Seafood Shack
- Guy’s Burger Joint

In addition to these dining venues, the Carnival Liberty also offers a special Chef’s Table dinner with a surcharge. This exclusive dinner begins with hors-d’oeuvres in the gallery, followed by a gourmet experience designed by Carnival’s master chefs in either one of the dining rooms or in an intimate setting onboard, accommodating up to 14 guests.
The Carnival Liberty also features 24-hour complimentary room service for those who prefer dining in the comfort of their cabins.
Golden Olympian Dining Room
The Golden Olympian is one of the two main dining rooms aboard the Carnival Liberty. Conveniently located midship on decks 3 and 4, it offers Carnival’s “Your Time Dining” option. Therefore, you can schedule your dining experience any time between 5:45 PM and 9:30 PM. Each evening, guests may choose to dine with the same group or meet new people.
Both the Golden Olympian and Silver Olympian Dining Rooms serve identical menus each evening, complete with lively entertainment from the waitstaff, ensuring a delightful dining atmosphere.
Silver Olympian Dining Room
The Silver Olympian Dining Room is the largest dining venue on the Carnival Liberty, located aft on decks 3 and 4. It offers the same menu as the Golden Olympian and features traditional fixed seating at two dining times each evening—6 PM or 8:15 PM. It’s important to select your preferred seating when finalizing accommodations.
Lido Restaurant
The Lido Restaurant showcases a variety of casual dining options, including Mongolian Wok, Chef’s Choice, Salad Bar, and Carnival Deli, ensuring there is something for everyone.
With ample indoor and outdoor seating, guests can enjoy their personal favorites with family and friends during breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This venue resembles an upscale food court.
Additionally, you’ll find pizza, soft-serve ice cream, and frozen yogurt available. The Lido Restaurant operates 24 hours a day, providing flexibility for all dining preferences.
Blue Iguana Cantina
If you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine, the Blue Iguana Cantina, located outdoors on the Lido deck next to the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar, offers a delightful selection of burritos and tacos. Guests can choose from three meat options and a variety of toppings, such as cheese, rice, and beans. Furthermore, the nearby salsa bar presents an array of choices, ranging from mild to spicy.
Seafood Shack
The Seafood Shack delivers a casual seafood experience, where dishes can be enjoyed on a roll or served on a platter. This eatery embodies a New England-style seaside vibe, complete with an ocean view, making for an enjoyable meal.
Guy’s Burger Joint
Guy’s Burger Joint was introduced as part of the Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements and has proven popular among guests.
Carnival collaborated with Food Network celebrity chef Guy Fieri to create this casual eatery, featuring burgers that are sure to satisfy. Additionally, a “fixins” bar allows guests to customize their burgers with a variety of toppings and condiments.
This spot is ideal for grabbing a late lunch after an excursion. Located outdoors next to the Lido pool, this burger joint offers seating both inside and outside.
Steakhouse Restaurant
The elegantly decorated Steakhouse requires a fixed surcharge and provides a tranquil dining experience midship on deck 10. This venue is ideal for romantic dinners or special occasions, featuring a multi-course meal that includes an appetizer, salad, entrée, side, and dessert. Reservations are recommended due to its popularity.
The menu features an array of delectable cuts of prime beef, including lamb, chicken, fish, and seafood options. The surf & turf combination of filet and lobster tail is particular crowd-pleaser, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring that guests leave satisfied.
Ol’ Fashioned Barbecue
Enjoy a traditional barbecue lunch featuring classic dishes like braised pork butt, smoked beef, and dry-rubbed grilled chicken. Complement your meal with sides such as mac and cheese, molasses baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. Finish with your choice of sauce for the ultimate barbecue experience.
