This impressive 3,000-passenger, 110,000-ton ship is a sister ship to the Carnival Liberty, which was launched in 2005. This magnificent vessel made its debut during the 35th anniversary of Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines, which began with just a single ship. The parent company, Carnival Corp. & plc, has grown to become the world’s largest cruise operator.

Additional Information: The Carnival Freedom reached Venice, Italy, after a brief voyage from the Italian Fincantieri shipyard on March 3, 2007. It spans 952 feet and offers 1,487 staterooms.

The Seafood Shack, added to the Carnival Freedom in 2017, is the newest dining venue, offering an array of fresh seafood delights. Located poolside, this a la carte seafood venue features options like lobster rolls, crab cake sliders, and a fried seafood platter. It’s the perfect spot for seafood lovers!

Carnival Freedom also serves a wide variety of other casual and formal dining options. Guests can enjoy meals in the Chic and Posh formal dining rooms, a casual poolside eatery, and Guy’s Burger Joint, among others. Furthermore, there’s a specialty steakhouse offering U.S.D.A. prime dry-aged beef and seafood.

Dining options cater to everyone, including vegetarian meals, children’s menus, and Spa Carnival Fare with health-conscious offerings. Additionally, the ship includes a patisserie, a sushi bar, and 24-hour room service.

Key highlights include the Victorian show lounge named after Queen Victoria and styled after London theaters, and Studio 70 dance club, which captures the essence of the famous Studio 54 disco. The Player’s Sports Bar brings the nostalgia of the 1950s sports era with its chrome décor and memorabilia.

Other themed public rooms represent the 1770s American Revolution, the 1910s in Scott’s piano bar, the 1930s in Swingtime jazz club, and the ancient Chinese Dynasty Room. This diversity adds character and charm to Carnival Freedom.

Guests can unwind at the expansive 14,500-square-foot Spa Carnival facility, featuring a gym and an array of body and facial treatments, including a selection of exotic European-style therapies.
