Essential Guide to the Roger Rabbit Ride at Disneyland

Riders take a wild taxi ride through Roger Rabbit’s wacky cartoon world at Disneyland.

Here’s a brief overview of the story: You have rented a toon-style taxi cab named Lenny (a cousin of Benny the Cab) for a tour of Toontown. Your journey begins when those evil weasels throw slippery toon-killing Dip onto the road, causing your taxi to spin out of control while you chase the villains through town. The weasels are racing to catch Roger, who is traveling with Lenny’s brother, Benny.

You’ll zip down the streets, crash into Bullina’s China Shop (get it? bull in a china shop?), and careen through the powerhouse where Roger Rabbit is having a showdown with Psycho. Then it’s on to the Gag Factory, where near disaster is narrowly avoided thanks to Roger’s quick thinking using a portable hole.

Your vehicle allows you to steer in all directions as you try to maintain control.

How to Have More Fun

  • This ride utilizes strobe lighting effects.
  • The queue area features adorable themes that make waiting enjoyable. You might even want to skip the Fastpass for a less crowded time.
  • While waiting in line, knock on the door to the Ink & Paint Club and say Walt sent me to possibly catch Jessica Rabbit’s performance.
  • Be cautious of the outdated advice regarding Roger Rabbit FASTPASS. Previously, it was said that you could hold a FASTPASS for Roger Rabbit alongside another FASTPASS, but that no longer applies.

Fun Facts about the Ride

One of the ride’s most enjoyable aspects is the queue’s signs. While in line, search for license plates like 2N TOWN (Toontown), 1DRLND (Wonderland), 1D N PTR (Wendy & Peter), IM L8 (I’m late – The White Rabbit), CAP 10 HK (Captain Hook), and 3 LIL PIGS (Three Little Pigs).

In the back alleys, a wanted poster states: “WISE GUY WEASEL WANTED IN THIRTEEN STATES FOR TOON NAPPING, ASSAULT WITH A SILLY WEAPON, PETTY LARCENY, GRAND LARCENY AND REALLY GRAND LARCENY.” Discover more signs to keep children entertained during your wait.

Once outside the ride, feel free to interact with anything that appears pullable, openable, pushable, or might trigger an unexpected response.
