Many people ask, why visit Mexico? Whenever we mention we are planning to spend the winter there, people tell us they are “worried for our safety and would prefer we go someplace else,” but with a little planning, a trip to Mexico is awesome. Here are some compelling reasons to visit Mexico!

When is the Best Time to Visit Mexico?

The best time to visit Mexico depends on your desired activities and destinations. Generally, the dry season from November to April offers warm and sunny weather, perfect for beach vacations in popular spots like Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Puerto Vallarta. This is also an excellent time to explore cultural and historical sites such as Chichen Itza and Teotihuacan without the discomfort of heat and rain.

If you’re interested in whale watching, the peak season in Baja, California, is from December to April, while in the Yucatan, it’s from June to October.

For those seeking fewer crowds and lower prices, May to June and September to October provide pleasant weather and a more relaxed trip. However, it’s essential to note that the rainy season from May to October can bring heavy showers in tropical areas, though it rarely disrupts travel plans.
