Bran Castle is the most famous castle in Transylvania and is often linked to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. At Rasnov Citadel, prisoners etched verses from the Quran into the sides of the well, while at Corvin’s Castle, the promise of freedom was broken, resulting in tragic consequences. Banffy Castle

Banffy Castle is now a shell of its former self, possibly enhancing reports of supernatural occurrences. Suffering extensive damage from a fire set by retreating Nazi soldiers during WWII, its stunning interiors were lost, and it has since become a focus of restoration efforts supported by various organizations dedicated to preserving such historic sites.
