The major illuminations can be witnessed along the Champs-Élysées, sparkling in the branches of trees lining this majestic boulevard from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. Moreover, do not miss the sophisticated lights along Avenue Montaigne, Place des Abbesses in Montmartre, and the stunning displays in Place Vendôme.

Numerous department stores also showcase extravagant Christmas lights, especially the renowned Galeries Lafayette, while Notre-Dame Cathedral features its own unique tree and illuminations.

Aunt Airie strolls the streets with her donkey, Marion, sharing her enchanting stories, while Saint Nicolas distributes sweets and presents to children. Additionally, a magical Parade of Lights is led by Saint Lucia.

Limoges, Limousin December 2, 2016 to January 2, 2017

On December 2 at 5:30 PM, lights are ignited in 82 different locations, making Limoges sparkle. The lights remain shining throughout Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year’s Eve (December 31). To experience the Christmas in Lights festival conveniently, consider taking the delightful tourist train through the old town, where you can see everything and later choose the buildings you wish to explore further.
