Explorer, Naturalist, Artist: John James Audubon and The Birds of America – This exhibition features prints drawn from the collection of the Nevada Museum of Art, acquired in memory of Dana Rose Richardson.

Film: Maker – Sunday, January 11, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This feature-length documentary explores the Maker Movement’s societal, cultural, and economic impact in the U.S. Admission is $7 / $5 for Museum members and students.

Thursday Flight Nights with chez louie – Thursday, January 15, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Experience a delightful evening of wine and food pairings. Admission is $38 / $32 for Museum members.

Talk – The Folk & the Lore: The Place Between – Saturday, January 17, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event celebrates the conclusion of Late Harvest with engaging stories and videos. Admission is $12 / $8 for Museum members.

Italian Wine Tasters Dinner with chez louie – Wednesday, January 21, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy a sumptuous three-course dinner with specialty wines. Admission is $75 / $70 for Museum members.

Film: Code Black – Sunday, January 25, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Experience the intense realities of America’s busiest Emergency Department through Ryan McGarry’s lens. Admission is $7 / $5 for Museum members and students.

Talk – Land Art and The Nature Conservancy – Friday, January 30, 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. Learn about innovative projects in Nevada’s river systems involving art and nature. Admission is $10 / free for Museum members.

hands/ON! on 2nd Saturdays – Saturday, January 10, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Engage in hands-on art projects and storytelling for the family, focused on the theme Animals in Art.

  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Salt – Watercolor Polar Bears – Redfield Learning Center.
  • 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. – Children’s storytelling.

Art Afternoon – Workshop and Social for Seniors – Friday, January 9, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Seniors can join for a guided tour and studio class. Ticket prices are $7 / $6 for Museum members.

Guided Group Tours at the Museum – Participate in guided tours available to NMA members and visitors with paid admission. Space is limited, and no reservations are required.

E.L. Cord Museum School

Classes at the E.L. Cord Museum School – Offering art classes year-round for all ages and skill levels. Class topics include painting, sculpture, ceramics, and more.
