Moreover, during the Mongol Rally, we split up tasks more often than usual. When Dave was behind the wheel, I captured moments, and when I took over, he managed the video recordings.

It turned out to be a lot of fun switching roles throughout our five-week adventure. One cannot be married to an exceptional professional photographer like Dave without picking up a trick or two. While I won’t be leaving my position as a travel writer anytime soon, I relished the opportunity to grab the camera and document a few highlights of the Mongol Rally.
