The Motherland Calls is an awe-inspiring monument honoring the Soviet Soldiers who valiantly fought during the Battle of Stalingrad. It has been noted that the statue faces challenges due to the unstable land beneath it, leading to concerns about its potential collapse in the near future. Reports indicate that repairs could cost around 6 million Euros, a sum that the city may struggle to raise.
Some have humorously suggested enlisting the help of the affluent Russian mafia, theorizing that they may possess the resources and national pride necessary to contribute.
