Nusa Penida By Scooter
Scooters are easy to rent from your accommodation or other rental shops in Penida, and you can expect to pay about 75k IDR (~$5 USD) per day including a full tank of gas.
Many of the roads in Nusa Penida are still very rough; therefore, riding a motorbike may pose some challenges. However, many travelers do it without issues.
The choice is yours, just be cautious of potholes and use your horn before turning any corners!
Nusa Penida By Driver
I’ve always rented a car with a driver in Nusa Penida since it’s safer and more comfortable than riding a scooter. The prices are only marginally higher than what you’d pay in Bali for a full-day driver.
All of the drivers on the island use vans that can accommodate at least 4 passengers, with pricing based on the car for a full day of driving, not per passenger. The prices typically include gas/petrol.
