Where We Stayed

During our stay, we chose to lodge at a hotel named Aukotan Place in south Koh Tao, which offered a double room at the reasonable rate of $25 USD. Our room featured essential amenities, including cold A/C, hot shower, and reliable WiFi.

As a delightful bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary buffet breakfast, despite this not being advertised on Booking.com. Additionally, they offered a free daily shuttle to and from the pier, along with affordable scooter rentals.

The hotel’s location proved to be ideal, situated within a 15-minute walk from Freedom Beach, Shark Bay, and John Suwan Viewpoint.

Keep in mind that accommodation prices may vary, so staying alert for good deals is advisable.
