Photography is an art form in itself, and it is essential to acknowledge that it doesn’t comply with rules, nor should it. Although some people suggest always taking photos with your back against the sun to properly illuminate your subject, there are countless powerful and moving photos where the opposite is true!
Indeed, images can be blurry yet captivating due to their vibrant colors and interesting subjects. The uncertainty of what is happening in these photos invites viewers to engage further. Some of these compelling captures may emerge from moments influenced by a celebratory drink, but there are always exceptional cases that challenge conventional wisdom.

Avoid overthinking; if something catches your eye, snap a picture! You can always delete it later if it doesn’t turn out well. However, if that spontaneous shot becomes a unique gem, you’ll be glad to have captured it.

Sometimes, capturing that perfect shot requires patience. For example, it took a considerable amount of time to capture this fleeting moment of lightning in the city. After numerous failed attempts, I finally got a shot that I was content with.

When you visit iconic places like Paris, capture the obvious sights; photograph yourself at the Louvre or mimicking the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Although these images might seem stereotypical, they represent the essence of those locations and will help you relive your awe during your visit.
7.) Just Have Fun with It
The key to successful travel photography lies in enjoyment. Snap pictures of everything that catches your eye. You can always delete the less appealing shots later. You may surprise yourself with the incredible nature of some of the photos mixed in with those deemed average or poor.

Visiting popular destinations during off-peak times can unveil stunning landscapes devoid of crowds, resulting in breathtaking photographs often missed during peak season.

Achieving a bird’s-eye view can result in breathtaking images. Scaling heights offers a perspective that is often overlooked, revealing the stunning beauty below. For instance, many may not consider climbing Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh for a photograph, but the photographic opportunities at the top are truly rewarding.
