Experience the Ultimate 70-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Adventure Across 18 Countries

Epic Journey on the Bus To London

Hop-on-hop-off buses have been a staple of city tours for years; however, they now offer an exciting new opportunity for crossing continents. Next year, an epic new bus service from Adventures Overland, called Bus To London, will embark on a remarkable 20,000km journey from India to England. This extraordinary adventure will cross 18 countries over 70 days, allowing passengers to enjoy stops in vibrant cities along the route.

This journey echoes parts of the historical Hippie Trail, a famous overland route between Europe and Asia traversed by ‘magic buses’ from the 1950s to the 1970s. Adventures Overland aims to capture that spirit while providing a modern twist. Dubbed ‘the longest bus journey in the world’, this adventure offers a comfortable ride complete with reclining ‘business class’ seats, ample legroom, WiFi, in-seat phone charging points, private lockers, and individual entertainment systems equipped with AUX and USB ports.

Commencing in Delhi, the bus heads east through India to admire the pagodas of Myanmar, before crossing into Thailand and arriving in the bustling foodie hub of Bangkok. The adventure then continues north, crossing the Mekong River into Laos. Following an intriguing path, travelers will journey through China, starting in Chengdu, where they can meet adorable pandas, then explore the Great Wall and the Gobi Desert in other western provinces. The route traces portions of the ancient Silk Road, visiting beautifully preserved sites in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. Next, travelers will encounter Russia and its iconic Red Square in Moscow, before proceeding to the captivating capital cities of Europe, including Vilnius, Warsaw, Prague, and Brussels. After over two months on the road, the journey concludes in London.

The first departure is currently set for May 2021; however, these dates may change due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Passengers may purchase tickets for one of the four legs of the journey or for the entire route. Only 20 tickets will be available for the inaugural through-journey, priced at £15,300.
